在美本名校申请越来越难的形势下，学校面试无疑是为申请的成功多增了一个有力砝码。不过不是每个学校都安排面试，一般前30的大U和文理学院提供的面试机会相对多一些，每个学校提供的面试方式也各不相同，除了学校自己的一对一on-campus面试、网络面试(skype)、校友面试和招生活动中的一对一in-person面试，有些学校会认可某个信誉好的第三方面试机构来进行面试。

当然，由于大部分学校的面试都是可选项，所以，对于英语口语交流比较好的学生，我们才会强烈建议参加这类面试，提供一个展示自己能力的平台，为自己增加亮点和优势，对于口语不太好的学生，则谨慎考虑是否参加。

目前美国学校申请用的第三方面试机构主要有三家，分别是CIEE的CAI面试、VERICANT维立克面试和InitialView面试。

相对来说，InitialView会更针对于美本申请，不过现在这个区别也越来越不明显了。这里需要强调的是，这三家面试内容的特点、难度和区别，你会在网上看到五花八门的点评，但其实本质是一样的，只是会根据面试者自身的不同而感受不一样。

这里以InitialView为例，来重点介绍一下面试问题和面试作文题。

关于InitialView面试

面试可以选择网络面试（Global）或者实体面试（In-person）。面试费用为220美金（1500人民币），可以支付宝、***和网上支付（paypal），非常方便。面试问题时间15分钟左右，然后是20分钟左右的面试作文题时间（如果是网络面试需要结束后同时把作文email过去）。之后（快的话3、5天，慢的话10天左右）你就能收到Initalview发给你的面试视频了。最后可以自己选择是否将面试发送给学校，可以发给任意你希望申请的学校。

关于InitialView面试题

纵观这些面试题，可以看到无非就是从自我介绍进出，然后根据你的实际情况在以下方面展开和深入，循序渐进地提问，所以，只要提前做好这些方面的准备，应付起来还是游刃有余的！

4）兴趣爱好

5）已学/在学/将学的中学课程，或者优劣势科目

6）关于你的家乡或学校的介绍

补充说明：

InitialView一般问8个左右问题，有一个问题如果被interviewer重视的话，会被标记为notable，即比较能突出学生特点的一段问答，例如样例4中的同学就有一个notable的标记，能被很清晰地贴上标签，意味着更容易被招生官注意到或者正向定位，个人认为这也是你的面试加分项哦！

关于InitialView作文题

每次面试作文题都不一样，这个就是考平时水平了，临时抱佛脚也出不来的呀！不过建议重视把握好以下原则（不管作文题有多怪异，例如下面的样例3，宝宝表示很不正常哦，哈哈！），你的表现都不会差的！

1）书写工整，很重要！

2）至少写满一页。

3）观点表达明确。

4）文章有结构，分好段落，每段都有一个明确的观点或者中心内容。

5）句子表达清晰，如果时间不够，尽量使用清晰简洁的短句，以避免过多语法错误。
